Hello Friends !!!๐๐พ
Welcome to the new Twicestyled website and my blog!!! I can't believe I am finally doing this!!! I am not much of a writer, but I hope you are able to find meaning in the stories and nuggets I share with you.
For my first blog, I wanted you to know more about the who, the why and the what of Twicestyled blog!
A little about me...
You can call me Tosin. I am a Nigerian mum, wife, sister and friend, living in Canada, with my beautiful family of three. I love to create things and have always loved jewelry. Growing up, my friends and siblings would always take my jewelry. I had a good eye....๐no, i am not proud. Fast forward to a few years later, in my second year as an income earner, I took my two-week annual vacation and decided to learn how to bead! Shout out to @th7_accessories who trained me! I am eternally grateful! If you are in Nigeria, do check them out. In 2016, I decided to turn my hobby to a business and finally registered my business name. The rest they say, is history! It's not been the smoothest of rides, but here we are! Here you are, reading this! Enough about me!
The Why and What..
This year, 2023, I decided I wanted to be more deliberate with life and what I wanted from it. "Agba tin de", means old age is coming in Yoruba. I didn't want to get caught up with being a wife, a mum and an 8 to 5iver, only to realize years later, I had let life pass me by!
This space will be about jewelry, fashion and a little bit of everything, with topics ranging from gift ideas, lifestyle, motherhood, sights and sounds. My goal is to share relatable nuggets that I hope you will find useful. I'll try to keep it real and to the point and not bore you. Please, bear with me on the days I do bore you.๐ฌ
Lastly...
I just wanted to say thank you SO much for just being here and reading my first blog post. I am so grateful for my readers already and hope you continue to follow along! Please leave me any ideas or things you would like to see here! Also, remember to subscribe to be notified of new posts and to shop our hand crafted affordable pieces!
Cheers, TK
